Today’s Moon conjunct the North Node in Scorpio is a direct activation of destiny, the unfolding direction of your life.  In astrology, destiny is tracked through the lunar nodes.  The North Node represents future growth, pointing toward experiences and developments that move life forward rather than keeping it tied to the past.  When the North Node is activated by a transit, it often marks periods when new pathways begin forming and long-term direction starts to shift.  The Moon’s role is to make that movement visible.  As it crosses the North Node, awareness increases around where progress is beginning and what is drawing your life ahead.  Scorpio contributes focus and emotional certainty, helping define what deserves your energy and what supports meaningful progress.  It is a sign associated with commitment and lasting change, so when it activates the North Node, it tends to clarify the direction that is becoming more permanent.  The upcoming Solar Eclipse in Aquarius Feb 18th is also a North Node event.  Solar Eclipses occur when the Sun and Moon align near the North Node, which is why they are known for initiating new cycles and accelerating forward movement.  When the North Node is triggered multiple times within a short period, this is interpreted as a strengthening of your future trajectory.  There is a clear sequence at work, today the Moon activates the North Node, increasing awareness of where your life is heading.  Feb 18th the Eclipse activates the North Node again, helping initiate movement in that direction.  For this reason, today can be understood as the recognition stage, while the Eclipse functions as the beginning of a new chapter.  The Feb 18th Eclipse starts a new Eclipse cycle across the Aquarius–Leo axis, shifting attention toward themes connected with Aquarius, independence, future planning, and building a life that reflects who you are becoming.
